In a world characterized by division and discord, the Big Water Collective stands as a beacon of hope and unity. We firmly believe in the profound and transformative power of music to bring people together, heal wounds, and create a shared space for humanity to connect when words fall short. Our collective has emerged as a response to the growing need for unity and solace in a world that often feels divided. We are dedicated to this: “Crafting music from a community context that fosters unity, healing, and a deeper connection between individuals and their faith”. Our motivation is to write as a community for the joy of coming together and creating music that is scripture breathed, authentic, accessible, and timeless.
At the heart of the Big Water Collective lies the understanding that music is a powerful means through which individuals can express themselves openly and honestly before God. Drawing from the timeless wisdom of the Psalms and classic hymns, steeped in tradition and spirituality, we aim to give voice to the unspoken. These sacred songs have the unique ability to help us articulate our deepest emotions and experiences, providing a collective language for sharing stories, whether they be joyous or sorrowful, in a courageous and communal manner through our music.
The Wedgwood Circle exists to nourish the good, the true and the beautiful in the 21st-century, focused on the crucial role of stories and storytellers, of novelists and playwrights and musicians and filmmakers, podcasters and more. From its beginning our mission has been to nourish the imaginations and vocations of artists of all kinds to ask and answer the perennial questions of the human heart— who are we? why are we? what will do with our lives?
In our sixteen year history, songs and stories, films and plays have come forth from good work that have been seen and heard throughout the world.
We are excited to serve as the Fiscal Sponsor for Big Water Collective.
